The IDSF Research Department is committed to serve as a leading, relevant and dynamic voice in the Israeli public discourse, which by putting forth actionable research provides the public and decision-makers necessary tools to tackle the evolving reality, while engraining the national security-related principles and values on which the State of Israel was founded so it can prosper for generations to come as the nation state of the Jewish people.
Vision
We promote a pertinent, professional and inviting discourse which takes as basis Israel's principles and Zionism- and national security-related values as an obvious point of departure. Those include Israel's identity as a Jewish and democratic nation, the Zionist vision as its foundational tenet, inside-out structured national security from which derive governance and sovereignty principles, full IDF security control over the area, peace through strength, empowering human capital, and a conscripting nation.
Our mission is to channel our accumulated experienced and in-depth knowledge in order to make them accessible in a professional and a-political manner, and above all - thought-provoking and intriguing.
Activity
We put on center stage the education and training of the public in general and the younger generation in particular.
